Market Moves

A dated record of changes that affect the catalogue. A classifier reads revisions to the source list and keeps material changes such as revised totals, new franchises and ownership updates. Every number is checked against the underlying diff before publication.

How an edit becomes a move

Every revision to the source list is parsed into a structured diff and classified. Reverts, vandalism and presentation-only edits are discarded by rule. Material changes pass a hard check — every numeral in the published line must appear verbatim in the diff — before landing on this page. Anything ambiguous waits for a human. The thresholds live on Receipts, with the rest of the methodology.

What an email edition will carry

  • New ledger entries since the previous edition, with sources.
  • Ownership changes and franchise additions, flagged as always material.
  • A game note and one Strange Money fact when they add useful context.
  • One correction or revision worth arguing about, when there is one.

The email edition is not yet operating. If it opens, each issue will be assembled from published items and reviewed before it is sent.
